How to Set Up Your Email Account on Outlook and Other Email Clients
Follow these instructions to set up your email account on Outlook and other email clients, as well as access your emails via a web browser.
IMAP and SMTP Settings
To connect your email account, use the following server settings:

IMAP (Incoming Mail Server)
- Server:
imap.tophernet.com - Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL
- Server:

SMTP (Outgoing Mail Server)
- Server:
smtp.tophernet.com - Port: 465
- Encryption: SSL
- Server:
Note: POP3 is disabled for all accounts. Only IMAP is supported to ensure better synchronization across devices.
Setting Up Your Email on Outlook
- Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
- Enter your full email address and click Connect.
- Choose IMAP.
- Enter the following details for the incoming mail server:
- Server:
imap.tophernet.com - Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Server:
- Enter the details for the outgoing mail server:
- Server:
smtp.tophernet.com - Port: 465
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Server:
- When prompted, enter your email address and password. This password could be the one you chose or one that was assigned to you.
- Complete the setup and test the connection to ensure everything works.
Setting Up Your Email on Other Clients
- General steps:
- Open your preferred email client and find the option to add a new email account.
- Enter your email address and select the IMAP option for account type.
- Input the following settings:
- IMAP Server:
imap.tophernet.com, Port 993, SSL enabled. - SMTP Server:
smtp.tophernet.com, Port 465, SSL enabled.
- IMAP Server:
- Enter your email address and password when prompted.
- Save the settings and test to make sure you can send and receive emails.
Accessing Your Email Online
You can also access your email account through any web browser:
- Navigate to mail.tophernet.com.
- Click on Webmail.
- Enter your email address and password to log in.
- You will now have full access to your inbox and other email features.
